We’re Stan and Mishka - van-life lovers, road-trip addicts and firm believers that New Zealand is best explored on four wheels.
When we first arrived, we spent eight months travelling both islands in our campervan, Vanilla. She was our transport, our kitchen, our bedroom - and occasionally our shelter from some very questionable Kiwi weather.
Living in Vanilla taught us what actually makes a campervan setup work: what you need, what you definitely don’t, and why a comfy bed after a big day of adventures is absolutely non-negotiable.
That experience inspired the vans we rent today: simple, practical, cosy and built for real road trips - not just pretty Instagram photos. Although, to be fair, they are still pretty photogenic.
This summer marks our fifth year of sharing the van-life love. Over those five years, we’ve helped more than 50 happy travellers from around the world experience their own proper Kiwi road trip.
We’re lucky enough to call beautiful Wānaka home, so if you need favourite local spots, scenic detours or a few “trust us, stop here” tips, we’re always happy to share.
You bring the bags. We’ll bring the van. New Zealand can handle the rest.
